Richard Sadler joins GasLog as COO

After a 19-month stint at the Ravi Mehrotra-controlled Foresight Group, Richard Sadler gave it a month’s break before taking on his next assignment. Sadler, the former CEO of UK class society Lloyd’s Register, has just been appointed chief operating officer of New York-listed LNG shipowner GasLog, replacing Graham Westgarth.

Sadler commented: “The LNG and LNG shipping markets are experiencing a period of considerable growth with significant opportunities and I believe that GasLog is well placed to take advantage of these opportunities. I look forward to working with the team to continue to develop GasLog into a world-class player in the LNG value chain.”
