Rival unions brawl at Paradip port

Workers from two rival trade unions working at India’s Paradip port exchanged blows yesterday, with at least 12 injured.

The Duck Mazdoor Union and Paradip Port Sramika Sangh have long fought for work at the port. Their simmering rivalry boiled over yesterday while a coal train was being unloaded.
