Sabah Oil & Gas Terminal on track for 2013 opening

 

Kuala Lumpur: The Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Infrastructure Development Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Joseph Pairin Kitingan yesterday visited the site of the Sabah Oil & Gas Terminal (SOGT) project, one of Petronas’ key initiatives in Sabah. He said he was impressed with progress there. 

The 260 acre project at Kimanis Bay, 65km southwest of Kota Kinabalu, will be an onshore oil and gas receiving, storage, processing and export terminal when finished in the middle of next year. The facility will have a capacity of 260,000 bpd of oil and 1,250 mmscfd of natural gas. [14/12/12]
