SapuraKencana confirms contracts worth $382m

SapuraKencana Petroleum has announced that companies within the group have been awarded two new contracts and a contract extensions worth around $382m.

Two contracts have been awarded by Murphy Sarawak Oil Company and Petronas Floating LNG1 for comprehensive maintenance of GE-supplied turbomachinery equipment. Both contracts are for a period of 10 years.

Additionally, SapuraKencana Drilling Jaya has been granted an extension to its contract with BP Trinidad & Tobago for the provision of its semi-submersible tender assist drilling rig SKD Jaya. BP has extended the use of the rig for its development drilling campaign offshore Trinidad and Tobago for an additional one well which should keen it on contract until April 2016.
