Scorpio Bulkers offloads kamsarmax pair

Monaco-headquartered Scorpio Bulkers has announced the sale of a pair of kamsarmax bulkers for a total of $45m.

SBI Charleston and SBI Cakewalk, both built in 2014 by China’s Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, are the oldest vessels in Scorpio’s owned bulker fleet.

Once the sale is completed, Scorpio will have a fleet of 46 vessels made up of 18 kamsarmaxes and 28 ultramaxes.
