Shanghai Ansheng Automotive Shipping orders car carrier at Jinling Shipyard

Shanghai Ansheng Automotive Shipping has placed an order at Jinling Shipyard, an affiliate yard of Sinotrans & CSC, for the construction of one 2,300 ceu pure car carrier.

Ansheng Automotive Shipping announced a plan in December to order two 2,300 ceu car carriers as part of its fleet expansion plan. The ships are expected to be completed within 13 months.

Jinling Shipyard has built a series of car carriers for Ansheng Automotive Shipping, having delivered two 3,800 ceu car carrier to the company in 2017.

Ansheng Automotive Shipping is the shipping subsidiary of Chinese car logistics major Anji Logistics. The company currently operates a fleet of 21 car carriers.
