Shanghe Offshore orders wind installation platform at Wuhan Marine Machinery

Shanghai-based Shanghe Offshore Engineering has placed an order at CSIC-affiliated yard Wuhan Marine Machinery for the construction of an offshore wind installation platform.

The platform will be equipped with a jack-up system and will be used for installation of offshore wind turbines at domestic wind farms. The details of the contract were not disclosed.

Shanghe Offshore Engineering is mainly engaged in the business of operation and development of offshore wind equipment. The company has planned to order another 2-3 offshore engineering platforms in the next three years.
