Shreyas takes its biggest boxship to date

Shreyas Shipping & Logistics, the Indian flagged vessel owning unit of Transworld Group, is linked to its biggest ship to date.

Brokers say it has added the 4,253 teu Queens Quay from ER Schiffahrt, paying $8.5m for the 2003-built ship.

Shreyas is a transhipment company providing coastal container shipping services in India. The services include Indian coastal feeder services and a weekly coastal service between India’s main ports and direct connections from India to the Middle East. The company is listed with ten containerships, all of which are no bigger than 3,000 teu in size.
