Simon Møkster secures VBMS contract

Norway’s Simon Møkster Shipping has announced that it has signed a new contract with VBMS, a subsidiary of Dutch offshore contractor Royal Boskalis, for the chartering of its subsea/windmill support vessel vessel Stril Server.

The vessel will support VBMS’s operations in the North Sea Area.

Simon Møkster Shipping said it is the first contract it has with VBMS, “giving the company another foothold in the offshore contractor market.”

The contract will start in April 2017 for a duration of five months plus options.
