Solstad Farstad PSVs find work with Statoil in Brazil

A pair of Solstad Farstad platform supply vessels have landed six-month firm contract with Statoil to support drilling at the Carcara Field in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil.

Statoil Brasil Óleo e Gás is taking the 2012-built Far Scotsman and 2009-built Far Serenade for six months commencing during the fourth quarter of this year. Statoil also has nine options of three months each.

Both vessels will be sailing under Brazilian Special Registry (REB) flag.
