Solstad Offshore gets work for two CSVs

Oslo: Solstad Offshore has announced that the charter contract for construction support vessel Normand Installer (9,511 dwt, built 2006) has been extended while it has also won two new contracts for another CSV, Normand Baltic (4,100 dwt, built 2010).

SBM Offshore Services has declared an option on Normand Installer for a minimum of 200 days during 2016. The vessel has been with SBM on a similar contract since 2006, with the vessel being owned by a joint venture set up between the two companies.

SBM operates the vessel in West Africa, where is also operates six FPSOs.

Additionally, Solstad has won two new contracts for the Normand Baltic, commencing in August, which amount to around 180 days in total.
