Solvang and partners buy Anthony Veder LPG carrier

Oslo: Solvang with unspecified partners have purchased an LPG carrier called Odin from Anthony Veder. The 2005-built, 38,000 cu m ship will deliver in the fourth quarter this year. Solvang will have 30% stake in the ship. The vessel will enter a time charter directly from delivery, Solvang said in a release to the Oslo Bors.

At the start of this month Solvang took delivery of the second of the three very large gas carriers (VLGCs) being constructed at Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea.
