Solvang declares options for ethylene carrier pair

Norway’s Solvang has wasted no time declaring options on two 21,000 cu m ethylene carriers, having confirmed a 2+2 order at South Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard last week.

The new vessels have a scheduled delivery for the second and third quarters of 2019.

Solvang originally signed an LOI at the yard back in February for the vessels, which are designed with full exhaust gas cleaning and Tier III compliance.
