Swire Blue Ocean CEO steps down

Lars Blicher has taken to LinkedIn to announce his resignation as CEO and director of offshore wind installation specialist Swire Blue Ocean.

Blicher has headed up Swire Blue Ocean since 2008 when it was Blue Ocean Ships, and oversaw the sale of the company to Singapore-based Swire Pacific Offshore in 2010.

Blicher finished up last week, and on his next step he said: “I still have not decided where to go from here, but you guys will be the first to know once I make up my mind.”

Swire Blue Ocean is headquartered in Copenhagen and recently announced a move to a new office in order to cope with an expansion of staff and business projects.
