Offshore fabrication yard TH Heavy Engineering has appointed Johan Abdullah, the deputy managing director and chief executive officer of Lembaga Tabung Haji, as its new chairman.
Johan, 58, has replaced Datuk Ghazali Awang, who has stepped down as the group’s non-independent and non-executive director. Besides his positions at Lembaga Tabung Haji, Johan also holds directorship in BIMB Holdings, Syarikat Takaful Malaysia and TH Plantations.
Lembaga Tabung Haji owns a stake of around 30% in TH Heavy Engineering.
