TransAtlantic CFO quits

Oslo: The chief financial officer at Rederi AB TransAtlantic, Tomas Bergendahl, has quit and will leave the company at the end of May.

CEO and board member Tom Ruud, said Bergendahl sent in his resignation letter yesterday. Ruud, who has been with the company since 2013, told Splash there is nothing dramatic about the resignation. Bergendahl has been offered a new job in another company, he explained. The CEO said Rederi AB TransAtlantic will start looking for a new CFO in the coming weeks.

Rederi AB TransAtlantic has two business areas, shipping and logistics and offshore/icebreaking services. TransAtlantic AB operates in North Europe while Viking Supply ships is involved in offshore and icebreaking on a worldwide basis. Rederi AB TransAtlantic’s B-shares are listed on the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, small cap segment.
