The shipbuilder, which has yards in the south of Japan, in eastern China, in Cebu in the central Philippines and has also been linked to setting up in Indonesia, is now looking at a site on a Negros, a neighbouring island to Cebu.

Tsuneishi is also looking at getting into the ship recycling sector though has not indicated where.
