Two bulkers at Jinling Shipyard blown away by storm

Shanghai: Two 81,600 dwt bulk carriers under construction at CSC Jingling Shipyard were blown away by a storm which hit the region on the night of April 28.

The two vessels hit several vessels and a floating dock during drifting. Zhenjiang Maritime Safety Department sent out five tugboats and managed to control the ships within an hour. There was no casualty from the incident.

Currently the two ships have been towed back to the shipyard for repair.
