Univan closes in on century of ships
Hong Kong: Univan Ship Management is on the cusp of a significant milestone. Speaking to SinoShip News Bjorn Hojgaard (pictured), ceo of the Hong Kong firm, said the shipmanager was on course to hit 100 ships under full technical management by the middle of next year. Containerships and bulkers have been the mainstay of recent growth that has seen the managed fleet climb to 88 vessels. Hojgaard, formerly with Thome Ship Management, moved to Univan 10 months ago.
