US Port of Vancouver begins hunt for new CEO

The CEO of the Port of Vancouver, Washington, Todd Coleman will step down after almost exactly four years in the top job and 15 years all-told with the port.

He will leave the position on May 19.

In his time at the helm the port in the northwest of the US doubled its acreage to more than 2,100 acres, increased its annual operating revenue from $32m to $38m, conserved more than 500 acres on the Columbia River for migratory birds, and built a new rail entrance and relocated tracks to reduce congestion.

Port commissioners will appoint an interim CEO until a permanent replacement is found.
