Dalian: The 7th China Cruise Shipping summit, the nation’s official cruise event, will be held from September 8 to 10 this year in the coastal city of Tianjin. Royal Caribbean Cruises’ Voyager of the Seas, one of the largest cruise liners in the world, is scheduled to set sail from the Tianjin International Cruise Home Port during the summit.
On the day of the liner's launch, Tianjin citizens will have chance to board the ship.
Tianjin Dongjiang International Cruise Home Port started operations in June 2010, and has received 56 cruise ships since then.
The home port is expected to receive 500,000 passengers crewmembers by the end of 2015. [25/07/12]
