Vroon awarded subsea vessel contract by E.On

Dutch owner Vroon has been awarded a charter contract by E.On for subsea support vessel VOS Stone for logistics support and offshore accommodation at the Arkona Offshore Windfarm in Germany.

The vessel, which was delivered in July, will undergo final outfitting works in the Netherlands and be ready to commence operations in the North Sea from November 2017.

The vessel and her sister vessel VOS Start have been purpose built to support offshore operations in the renewable industry and walk-to-work projects in the oil and gas industry. VOS Start is currently employed at the Walney Extension Offshore Wind Farm in the Irish Sea.

VOS Stone will commence its charter with E.On mid-2018.
