Vroon subsidiary sells MR pair to Union Maritime

Iver Ships, the tanker subsidiary of Belgium’s Vroon, has sold two 2007-built MR tankers – Iver Express and Iver Example – to UK-based Union Maritime for a price Clarksons Research lists as around $16.75m each.

Both vessels are due for special survey this coming June and July respectively and will deliver to the new buyers basis surveys being due. The IMO II class ships have 16 cargo tanks each.

Iver Ships has three other MR tankers, six handysizes and 14 bitumen tankers in its fleet.
