Wan Hai acquires two feeder boxships

Taiwanese owner Wan Hai Lines has announced the acquisition of two 1,805 teu containerships, Sao Paulo and Ho Chi Minh, from MI-DAS Line.

The purchase price for the two 2008-built vessels is $12.5m each.

Wan Hai said the acquisition is part of the company’s long-term fleet development plan. It currently operates a fleet 72 vessels.
