Dalian: Weifang port, another emerging northeast China port located in Shandong province, is planning to invest RMB10bn on port expansion.
The port plans to build thirteen 5000 tons-class berths and at least nineteen 20,000 tons-class berths in the coming three years in order to reach an annual port handling capacity of 53m tons, Liu Qingxiang, director of Weifang port and shipping bureau said. [05/06/13]
