Jakarta: Offshore marine services company PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk expects to raise capital expenditure plans as demand for higher value offshore support vessels grows in Indonesia.
Wintermar reported a net profit for the first quarter of 2013 of $5.8m with 45% revenue growth as compared to 2012. The rise was attributed to a rebound in the chartering division.
Wintermar has taken delivery of 3 new vessels this year and have an additional 8 vessels due for delivery in 2013. However, with the stronger than expected demand for higher value vessels so far this year, the group says it will be looking to add to its current fleet of 64 vessels. [30/04/13]
