Yang Ming continues hunt for new president

Taiwanese shipping line Yang Ming Marine Transport, continues its hunt for a new president after the post was vacant when Hermann Yu died in his sleep in April.

Bronson Hsieh, who took over Frank Lu as the new chairman of Yang Ming in June, had recommended and invited Tong Chow, former president of Wan Hai Lines and current general manager of China United Lines, to take up the position. Chow turned down the offer however due to health concerns.

Potential candidates for the job include Lin Wenbo, who is currently filling in the role, and Spring Wu the current China president of Yang Ming.
