Standard Drilling secures contracts for three PSVs

Norwegian offshore owner Standard Drilling has been awarded new contracts for PSVs Standard Princess, Standard Supplier and Standard Provider.

The total firm period of the contracts is 460-470 days plus a combined option period of 265 days.

Standard Princess secured a firm 185-day contract in direct continuation of its current contract from April 1. Standard Supplier was awarded a firm 185-day contract with commencement end of March or beginning of April.

Standard Provider secured a firm one-well contract from Ithaca with commencement at early April.

“The abovementioned contracts and the rates to be paid confirm our optimism for the spring and summer season in the North Sea,” said Martin Nes, chairman of S.D Standard Drilling.

Currently the company has ownership in 17 platform supply vessels in total.
