Icon Offshore awarded supply vessel contract by Petronas

Malaysian offshore vessel owner Icon Offshore has been awarded a contract by Petronas Carigali for the provision of straight supply vessel.

Icon has only just received approval to announce the contract, which commenced last month and is for Tanjung Pinang 2. The contact length is 180 days with a further 180 option, while the value is around MYR8m ($1.95m) should the option be taken.

Separately, Icon also announced five contracts awarded last September by Petroleum Arrangement Contractors. The contracts are on a call out basis for a period of three years.

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore.
