Bocimar left with one handy after Cosmoship sale

A sale done by Antwerp-based Compagnie Maritime Belge’s bulker arm Bocimar made the headlines in last week’s broker reports.

This week the taker is attached to the deal. Greek  Cosmoship Management has emerged  as the taker of 75% of Bocimar’s smallest bulkers, pocketing $27m for an en bloc deal for three ships built at Jiangsu Zhenjiang  Shipbuilding. Bocimar  have let go of CMB Giulia, CMB Catrine and CMB Adrien, leaving the oufit with one last handy, the 2010-built Argenmar Mistral. Data VesselsValue has compiled on  Bocimar shows a fleet with 27 bulkers of which  22  are capes. In comparison Cosmoship has 13   bulkers in the water, all in the handy segment. Cosmoship is also involved in the container segment.
