Nordic Shipholding product tanker sale falls through

Danish tanker owner Nordic Shipholding has announced that the company has failed to complete the sale of its 2000-built 35,800 dwt product tanker Nordic Ruth.

The company entered into a memorandum of agreement with unnamed buyers in February regarding the sale of the ship, however, Nordic Shipholding said the MOU became null and void as the buyers have not fulfilled their obligation to establish  requested deposit.

Nordic Shipholding will continue to market the vessel for sale.

Nordic Shipholding currently owns a fleet of six tankers.
