Tamrose Ventures acquires resale PSV from Mawei Shipbuilding

Nigeria-based Tamrose Ventures, a logistics services provider in the oil and gas industry, has acquired a resale platform supply vessel from China’s Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding.

The vessel was originally ordered by Dubai-based owner Marine Assets Corporation in 2013, and it has been renamed TMC Evolution.

The price of the deal was not disclosed.

The vessel will also be the first PSV in Tamrose’s fleet, which now consists of eight fast support vessels (FSVs).

Mawei Shipbuilding is a major OSV builder in China, and according to VesselsValue it currently has 22 OSVs on its orderbook.
