EMGS secures Barents Sea survey contract

Norwegian offshore survey service provider Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has entered into an agreement for a fully pre-funded multi-client 3D CSEM survey in the Norwegian Barents Sea.

The contract has a value of $1.25m and the survey is expected to be executed in the second quarter.

The company will mobilise its research vessel Atlantic Guardian for the survey.

In April, EMGS won a letter of award from a major national oil company for a multi-year acquisition contract in a tender process.
