Sapura Energy awarded $241m worth of new contracts
Malaysia’s Sapura Energy has secured 10 contracts worth a total of RM1bn ($241m).
The new awards include the company’s first offshore wind farm contract, awarded by Yunneng Wind Power, for the provision of transportation and installation of substructures for offshore wind turbines at the Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm in Taiwan.
Sapura Energy secured three contracts for drilling services from Shell, Petronas and Chevron.
In the E&C segment, the company landed four contracts by JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration, Cooper Energy, PTT Exploration and PTTEP International.
The company was also awarded two light well intervention contracts, one from Woodside Burrup and the other from Woodside Energy.
Additionally, the company has also been selected for a frame agreement with Petronas for the provision of engineering, procurement and construction of fixed offshore structure works.
