DOF gets Chevron extension and new Sigurd Ross deal

Oslo: Offshore and subsea vessel owner DOF has signed a deal with Chevron Brazil to extend the contract for construction support vessel  Skandi Salvador (3600dwt, built 2008) and IRM services for the remainder of 2015.

Skandi Salvador has been operating for Chevron on the Frade oil field since 2009.

In addition DOF has inked two four month contracts with a 60 days option for the 187 ton bollard pull AHTS vessel Skandi Stord (built 1999) with Sigurd Ross commencing in April.

DOF owns and operates 79 vessels, with a further seven newbuilds on order.
