Singapore: Transocean has revealed a series of new and changed contracts to the value of around $109m while issuing its monthly fleet statement.
The contracts includes a one year extension for jackup Transocean Andaman located offshore Thailand, a three month extension for drillship Deepwater Champion in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, and a one well extension for jackup GSF Galaxy II in the UK sector of the North Sea.
A new 45 day contract has also been won for semi-submersible Sedco Express operating offshore Nigeria.
Transocean has also said that it has delayed the delivery of two drillship newsbuilds at Sembcorp Marine’s Jurong Shipyard in Singapore by 24 months. The two vessels are now expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020.
