Management shuffle at Sinopacific Shipbuilding

Jiangsu-based Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group has announced that Simon Liang Xiaolei has vacated the ceo position, but will retain his role as the president of company.

The ceo position has been filled by Jiang Qiang, who was serving as co-ceo at the yard.

The announcement also advised that Wang Xingru will no longer serve as co-ceo of the yard. Industry sources tell Splash that Wang has quit from Sinopacific Shipbuilding and will join a private shipyard in Zhejiang, just one year after having joined Sinopacific from Cosco Group.
