Star Bulk offloads four

Nasdaq-listed Greek owner Star Bulk Carriers has announced that it has entered into agreements to sell two capesize and two kamsarmax vessels.

Star Bulk didn’t specify which of its vessels were sold referring to all four as modern, going against the company’s recent efforts to offload older vessels in the fleet.

The four vessels were sold to “unaffiliated third parties” at an aggregate gross price of $122m and are scheduled for delivery during the first quarter of 2016.
