DOF Subsea wins three new contracts for 2016

DOF Subsea has been awarded several contracts to a value of around NOK 200m ($22.8m).

OMV New Zealand has awarded DOF an IMR contract for work which includes inspection and work on 8 mooring lines on the Maari field’s FPSO, Raroa, offshore New Zealand. DOF will utilise construction support vessel Skandi Hercules for the work, which will be carried out during first half of 2016. The contract will keep Skandi Hercules in firm work up until the end of the third quarter of 2016.

The company has been also been awarded commissioning support work for ENI at the Goliat field, and installation of mooring systems for BW Offshore in the UK sector of the North Sea. The contracts will keep DOF Subsea’s fleet in the region busy for the entire first half of 2016.

Mons S. Aase, CEO of DOF Subsea, commented: “I am pleased with the contract awards, securing utilization of people and assets in 2016. DOF Subsea has provided IMR services on the FPSO Raroa in 2013, and I am pleased that OMV again has chosen our competent team in APAC to support them.”
