Aban Offshore wins ONGC jackup deal

Chennai-based Indian drilling company Aban Offshore has announced today the award of a contract from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation India for jackup rig Aban II.

The contract is for three years, and is valued in the region of $50m.

Aban said that the contract is expected to commence during the first quarter of 2016.
