Adani linked with buying APM Terminals’ Pipavav facility

APM Terminals refuses to be drawn on speculation in India that is looking to pull out of Pipavav port in Gujarat province.

An Indian affiliate of US business TV channel CNBC is reporting that the Maersk company is keen to sell its stake in the west coast port with Adani Ports linked as a likely buyer.

However, a spokesperson for APM Terminals told Splash today: “APM Terminals does not comment on market rumours and speculation as a matter of business policy.”

APM Terminals also has a facility in nearby Mumbai.
