Adani linked with Chennai terminal acquisition

Mumbai: The Adani Group is being linked by local newspaper Business Standard with taking over Larsen & Toubro’s Kattupalli International Container Terminal near Chennai. The terminal currently has two berths.
The news follows hot on the heels of Adani’s government approval to develop the Vizhinjam port in Kerala. Moreover, last year Adani bought Dharma Port on Odisha from Tata Steel and Larsen & Toubro. Adani’s port network is growing very fast – the first phase of a box terminal at Ennore Port is scheduled to open next January.
