Administrators list Guiqin Shipping fleet up for sale

The administrators of the bankrupt Qinzhou-based bulk shipping operator Guiqin Shipping have listed the entire fleet of the company up for auction.

Guiqin Shipping, which has been under court-led restructuring since 2015, has already had some vessels sold by courts.

The administrators will hold auctions for the remaining five vessels in the company’s fleet, Sheng An Da 66, Sheng An Da 67, Sheng An Da 108, Sheng An Da 9 and Sheng An Da 12 on September 7.

Earlier this month, Xiamen Maritime Court sold the company’s 2011-built handymax bulker Sheng An Da 69 for $10.8m.
