Alam Maritim wins discharge pipeline contract at a Petronas oil terminal

Alam Maritim (M) is to provide engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) services for Petronas Carigali, which is planning a kilometre-long extension of the effluent discharge line at Terengganu Crude Oil Terminal (TCOT) in Kerteh, Malaysia.

The EPCIC contract is valued at some RM26m ($6.15m) and is effective as of October 8. Extension work on the 10-inch-diametre pipeline is expected to begin in March 2016 and finish in June.

Petronas Carigali and ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc (EMEPMI) operate oilfields located in offshore Peninsular Malaysia, which supply oil to the terminal for processing and export.

Alam Maritim (M) owns, manages and charters offshore vessels for its parent company Alam Maritim Resources or for third-parties involved in Asia’s oil and gas industry.
