Alexandria and Dakhila ports closed due to bad weather

Cairo: Alexandria Port authorities decided to close the channel leading to the port, amid very rough weather. Both Alexandria and Dakhila port are closed as high winds have whipped up large waves.

Winds of 30 knots and 3 m high waves have been recorded yesterday and today. The central Mediterranean area is suffering from a clash of high and low pressure, expected to pass tomorrow.  [06/10/13]
