Amann Shipping acquires feedermax boxship from Heung-A

Brunei-based container shipping operator Amann Shipping has acquired 2002-built feedermax containership Heung-A Venus from South Korean owner Heung-A Shipping for an undisclosed price, Alphaliner reports.

The 1,032 teu vessel, which has been renamed Padian 4, has been chartered back to Heung-A.

Amann Shipping also recently acquired another 1,032 teu vessel Heung-A Asia from Heung-A Shipping. The vessel has been renamed Padian 3.

Amann Shipping now has a fleet of four feedermax containerships.
