Anglo International Shipping grows fleet with baby cape pair

UK-based Anglo International Shipping has acquired two mini capes, the 2011-built Baroque and 2010-built Bel Air, for an en bloc price of $41m, broking sources tell Splash.

Anglo International has acquired the vessels from Greece’s Golden Union and is reported to have chartered them back to the Theodore Veniamis-led company.

Led by ex-Graig CEO Steven Davies, Anglo International made its debut last year with the acquisition of two 2013-built Chinese-built kamsarmaxes, one of which is now delivered and trading as the Anglo Barinthus.
