Anhui Zhonglian Shipping orders four handy bulkers at Yizheng Yangzi

Anhui Zhonglian Shipping has chosen Yizheng Yangzi Shipbuilding for the construction of four 22,500 dwt bulk carriers through a tender process.

The total price for the four vessels is RMB260m ($37m) and the construction of the first vessel is expected to be completed in 17 months.

The vessels will be used for dry bulk cargo transportation from between domestic coastal and river ports.

Anhui Zhonglian Shipping is a shipping subsidiary of Maanshan Iron & Steel and it currently owns a fleet of two bulkers.
