Shanghai: China’s largest coal industry player, Shenhua Group, announced that the fourth phase project of Huanghua port has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission.
According to the company, the fourth Huanghua port project includes one new 50,000 dwt berth, and the upgrading of one 100,000 dwt, two 70,000 dwt and one 35,000 dwt coal berths with related facilities. The annual handling capacity is expected to reach 54.6m tons.
Last year, Huanghua port completed 170m tons cargo throughput, an increase of 35.42% year-on-year. [14/03/14]
