Guangzhou: Anshan Iron and Steel Group, the second largest steel maker in China, is going to establish a port logistics hub at Nansha port of Guangzhou, according to an agreement signed between Anshan government and Guangzhou government yesterday.
Anshan Steel said the move is to enhance storage and distribution services in the Pearl River Delta region as 20% of its production are sold to the region, and it plans to improve sales volume in South China to more than 30% of the group’s overall sales volume in 2013. [30/11/12]
